Phénix Inks are designed for fabric coloring. Bright and brilliant, they may be used in a lot of ways (see the techniques).

Craftsmen and artists appreciate their professional qualities. What is more, they are so easy to handle and harmless (no dangerous solvent, no odor) that anyone can use them and make one's own works of art.

Some of their best qualities are:

Beautiful colors, due to high quality pigments and materials
Softness: printed areas remain nearly as soft as before printing
Excellent resistance to machine washin (40°C), light exposure and rubbing.
A large color panel, that is possible to expand at will by mixing

Depending on the chosen technique, we offer several coloring products:

Spéciale Paréos

Our top product in French Polynesia, it has been specially designed to fulfill the needs of tahitian craftsmen, pareu specialists. It is the ideal ink for heliography, salt effects, folding, knotting, serti-gutta and batik.

Transparent

This ink is specifically designed for screen printing, stencil and carved plate printing techniques. It may also be applied directly using a paintbrush or pipette, by diluting it slighlt with water. It is designed only for light colored fabrics

Opaque

This ink is similar to the Transparent, and is designed for screen printing, stencil and carved plate printing techniques, but it may be used on dark colored fabrics (even black).

Opaque White

This ink is used in the same way as the Opaque above, with screen printing, stencil and carved plate printing techniques, and may be used on dark colored fabrics (even black).

Paintbrush

Very fluid, this ink is designed for direct painting on fabrics with a paintbrush or pipette and will not spread. Best to use on light colored fabrics.
